The Gaming Standards Association and the Gaming Technologies Associated have hailed a recent Gaming Communication Technology Workshop held in Sydney, Australia, a success.

The event, which reviewed recent changes in technology and how Australasian jurisdictions are affected by the application of GSA protocols, was attended by more than 50 technologists, regulators, suppliers and operators.

"Our objective for this workshop was achieved," said GSA president Peter DeRaedt. "We facilitate the development of open communiction standards and want to continue to bring together all parties worldwide.

"This allows us to foster a closer collaboration and help move the industry forward. Australia provides an important part of the global picture GSA standards create - a landscape that drives innovation in a positive way."
