Aristocrat Leisure today announced its results for the full year ended September 30.

Group performance for the year was well ahead of the prior corresponding period, with normalised net profit after tax and before amortisation of acquired intangibles of $236.1m, representing a 78.9 per cent increase in reported terms and a 47.1 per cent increase in constant currency, over the $132m delivered in the year to September 30, 2014.

Performance was driven by the successful acquisition and integration of the VGT Class II gaming operations business, together with sustained improvement in operational performance. In particular, positive momentum in North American gaming operations across both Class III and Class II segments, outstanding growth in the Australian outright sales market and strong performance in digital contributed to the result.
