US gaming revenues were up in July, rising 4.1 per cent to $3.45bn, according to Fantini Research’s National Revenue Report.
July delivered the best year-on-year comparison since January, exceeding the year-to-date growth rate of 2.27 per cent.
Factoring out the state of Nevada, where overall revenues have been driven down by a handful of casinos seeing lower baccarat win, US casino revenues rose 6.08 per cent in July.
Same-store US gaming revenues, excluding casinos that weren’t open last year, rose 2.24 per cent compared to one per cent, year-to-date.
