Assuming the responsibilities of the role will be executive chairman Tristan Sjöberg, providing a “natural progression” for the company as a family owned and run business.

Burns took over the reins of the business over two-and-a-half years ago and realigned and refocused the company as part of a significant overhaul.

“The board and I wish to thank Cath for the excellent contribution she has made to the business,” said Sjöberg. “Under her leadership TCS John Huxley has developed innovative products and services with committed product roadmaps, which protect our customers investment in us and in turn provide strategic growth for the future.

“Our aim is to continue investing and building on this, positioning the company for growth and a strong future.”
