The Caesars Entertainment property treated guests to performances from Iggy Azalea, Gladys Knight and a DJ set by Pauly D.

The opening night festivities began with a gathering of dignitaries in the casino’s outdoor entertainment plaza and included remarks from Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley and the Mayor of Baltimore, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake.

The casino boasts 122,000sq.ft of gaming space featuring 2,500 slots, 100 table games and a World Series of Poker room. It employs 1,700 people, over half of which are residents of the greater Baltimore area.

The project marks the fourth venture between Caesars and its partner Rock Gaming, following the openings of Horseshoe Casino Cleveland in 2012 and Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati and ThistleDown Racino in 2013.
