Christian Maglia, former head of sales at BetGames.tv and director of sales at Sportradar, has left the Lithuanian firm to join igaming provider WeAreCasino as chief commercial officer.
Established a year ago, the company took part in the Lisbon Web Summit and ICE Totally Gaming 2018.
Maglia officially left BetGames.tv on February 18th and is expected to start in his new role next month.
Domenico Vacchiano, founder and chief technical officer at WeAreCasino, said: “Christian has a wealth of experience and I know that, with his very real passion for the industry, he will add a new dimension in leading the commercial area and help continue the implementation of our plan to position WeAreCasino as the one-stop solution for all casino gaming needs.”
Christian Maglia said: “It’s an exciting time for me. I’m proud to announce this new venture with one of my oldest friends, Domenico Vacchiano, who founded WeAreCasino in January last year. I’m grateful for all the experiences I have had at BetGames, working within an incredible group of gaming experts and signing new deals with the most important companies in the gaming industry.”
Maglia, who has more than 18 years of experience in the gaming industry, will be a member of the board of directors at WeAreCasino and will be responsible for heading up all commercial activities with its revenue management, sales, marketing and customer care teams, which will report to him.
