Net profit for the group rose 20 per cent year-on-year, reaching PLN54m.

And the net profit of its main operating company, STS, jumped 18 per cent year-on-year to PLN70m.

Adjusted EBITDA for the STS Group was PLN80m, 12 per cent up, with that figure at over PLN82m excluding operations under British and Estonian licenses.

Mateusz Juroszek, CEO of STS, said: “Key operational indicators improved compared to Q1 2022, which was then a record period in the company’s history.

“Despite the high base from Q1 2022, we generated even better results and in terms of net profit, the last quarter was record-breaking in the history of STS.”

Juroszek added that he expects player interest in domestic football leagues until the end of spring – and then again in the autumn – to “positively translate” into the group’s results.
