Following a year of preparation, research and consultation, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has issued a request for proposals to retain service providers to launch online gaming in the province.
Implementation will begin in 2012 with a phased launch that will include player education, pre-registration and a full suite of gold standard responsible gaming and consumer protection measures.
The request for proposals is publicly available on the MERX Canadian Tenders website. All submissions to the RFP are due on February 3, 2012.
