Gavin Isaacs has left his role as Entain CEO with immediate effect, the gambling operator group has announced.

Entain

The Ladbrokes and Coral owner did not expand on the move,  only to say that Stella David will be stepping back in as interim CEO.

David was interim CEO after the departure of Jette Nygaard-Andersen and ahead of Isaacs joining Entain in September.

“Entain is making strong progress in delivering our strategic priorities. We would like to thank Gavin for his contribution,” David said.

“The board is pleased with the group’s performance in 2024 and trading so far this year. As announced on January 13, 2025, FY2024 group EBITDA is expected to be at the top of the £1.04bn-£1.09bn guidance range.

"The board and management remain aligned on the group’s focus on operational excellence and maximising shareholder value.

“I look forward to leading the business as we continue to accelerate our performance.”

David will remain as interim Entain CEO until a replacement is found.

Isaacs was only in the role for five months. His departure with immediate effect sees him leave in a similar fashion to Nygaard-Andersen did in December 2023.
