According to an article in The Los Angeles Times, Atari is being revived after several changes in ownership.
The article states that thanks to current officials chief executive Jeff Lappin and president Jim Wilson, we will see Atari "roll out a major online initiative with updated versions of old favourites including Missile Command and Centipede, which can be downloaded or played on social networking sites such as Facebook. It is also building out a licensing programme that includes, not just consumer products, but also films, based on its classic games."
