The German arcades under the Merkur Casino brand were the most popular in the country, according to a survey.
The survey by the business magazine Focus-Money together with the Deutschland Test and Cologne-based analysis company Service-Value, took in 1,281 customer ratings from 14 arcade providers using an online panel. They evaluated seriousness, range of games, service, staff and ambience in 26 sub-aspects and the Merkur chain rated "very good" in every case.
It was the sixth time in a row that Merkur Casino was named the winner in the survey. The Gauselmann Group company has over 400 arcades in Germany and a similar number in other European countries.
