I am looking for a QA Automation Engineer to work remotely. In this role, your main focus will be to suggest ideas for automated software test procedures, highlight problem areas, and track bugs. In addition to testing, you should be able to develop well-planned structured test plans & cases. You will work as part of our existing QA team and will work closely with Developers, DevOps, and Support.
We expect you to have experience in software testing and QA processes, especially in automation. You are familiar with the development processes like Kanban.
You will be investigating the causes of non-conforming software programs. You should be detail-oriented and possess excellent troubleshooting abilities. If you have a strong technical background and can streamline all testing activities, we would love to have you on board.
Responsibilities:
Planning and prioritising testing activities
Helping identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application
Suggesting automated software test procedures
Tracking software bugs and investigating the causes
Pointing out problem areas
Preparing automation scripts
Implement test automation
Troubleshooting automation software issues
Creating test plans and cases
Develop and apply testing processes
Reviewing technical specifications and design documents
Conducting regression testing when needed
Monitoring assurance metrics and process results
Validate changes in QA and staging environment before release
Requirements:
Knowledge of programming languages like PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Complete understanding of automation systems and databases
Expertise in automation testing tools like Selenium, Cypress
Understanding of testing protocols
Know-how of different types of testing methods like white box and black box testing
Familiarity with the software development process
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
Complete understanding of automation systems and databases
