Director of Casino/Sportsbook Sales

The Director of Casino/Sportsbook Sales is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated and seasoned sales executive with experience in the Casino/Gaming Industry. As the leader of the team, your primary focus will be generating revenue by acquiring new accounts and maintaining business throughout the market. This role will be responsible for selling/managing multi-million dollar Casino/ Sportsbook sales within the Sports Media category. This position can work remotely or at our corporate headquarters outside of Philadelphia, PA, whichever is most convenient.

Primary Responsibilities:

    New business acquisition, consistently generating revenue from new accounts within the Casino/Sportsbook market, to meet or exceed sales targets.
    Development of an overall territory plan and strategy that identifies products and prioritizes potential customers who can benefit from company services
    Build strong relationships across customer organization levels and functions.
    Prospect for new business opportunities. Gather relevant information about prospects to be used in the selling process. Leverage the strength of brands, innovations, and product features/benefits.
    Collaborate with the product team to custom curate sports content packages for each client.
    With support from COO, manage more complex selling situations, including determining the relevant stakeholders within a customer.
    Participate as the company industry representative in regional and national meetings and Trade Shows (as needed).
    Use a CRM system to promptly and accurately document sales activities.
    Responsible for margin and category management.
    Provide industry/regional competitive insights and strategic feedback to the organization.

Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree.

Experience:

    Minimum 2-3 years of Casino/Gaming experience with a strong set of transferable relationships.
    Experience selling to large, complex customers, some at their headquarter level, as well as with single and multiple location ownership.
    Minimum 5 years of sales experience with a focus on New Business Development/New Account Acquisition, including both inside and outside sales.
    Significant experience managing Request for Proposal (RFP) submissions.

    Professional, polished telephone presence and face-to-face demeanor. Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, presentation, and active listening skills.
    Profiling to help identify and solve customer needs.
    Persistent with great follow up and strong organisational skills.
    Ability to understand and retain information on a large portfolio of products and brands.
    Ability to understand financial concepts (Revenue, Cost, Margin, Expense, Profit) and ability to appropriately use financial information to deliver profitably business growth.
    Proficiency with basic computer hardware and software (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM).
    Self-motivated and enjoys working independently while also maintaining the ability to collaborate and communicate with cross functional teams in various locations.
