Compliance Officer

An expanding software business in the iGaming sector is looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to act as the key individual for compliance issues covering the jurisdiction of the UK and across Europe.

The ideal candidate will have previous online gaming compliance experience, either working within a supplier to the industry or with an operator and show a detailed knowledge of at least one of the above territories regulatory regime and technical standards.

Role and Responsibilities:

    Updating regulator online portals or replying to communication from regulators with regards to registration of new games, key equipment updates or key events
    Taking part in and then eventually running monthly/quarterly compliance meetings
    Advising senior management or technical teams of new regulations or changes to regulations that may mean additional development or changes to product/games
    Supporting the Director of Operations in Security Audits and documentation collation and updates to allow successful completion of those audits
    Owning the day to day relationship with 3rd Party test houses for the certification of games, ISMS Audits, Change Management reviews and Penetration/Vulnerability Scanning
    Aiding in the day to day support of operators requiring compliance information relevant to Blueprint games and platform
    Organising and cataloguing compliance documentation so easily available and up to date to meet regulatory requirements
    Supporting the compliance requirements to allow Blueprint to enter new regulated markets or obtain new licences to supply

Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

    Experience in ISS/ISM/ISMS (Information Security Management) audits and creating and regularly updating documentation related to Information Security Management
    Experience of online portals for the registering of compliance information
    Have worked in a compliance team serving one or more of above-mentioned jurisdictions and other worldwide regulated territories
    Experience in advising technical teams on specific remote technical standards and creating scoping documents for technical projects
    Strong Microsoft Office and general IT knowledge

Desirable:

    Have worked in a compliance team serving all the above-mentioned jurisdictions and other worldwide regulated territories
    Have been part of a business that has achieved an ISO 27001 certification and is aware of the scoping and execution process as Blueprint has a desire to obtain that certification within the next 2 years.
