Sports Information Services has added to its Competitive Gaming operations following the launch of its esports product across two US states.

Jacob Howard is the company’s new esports product manager and previously worked at Alphadraft, a site offering fantasy contests based on esports competitions hat was acquired by FanDuel.

He also worked at Abios, which was acquired by Kambi.

Meanwhile, Aaron St Pierre has been hired by SIS as a trading manager. He has worked in trading and has notable experience in the US.

SIS’ Competitive Gaming product has been launched in New Jersey and Colorado and holds over 180,000 events per year, with ESIC-trained integrity referees and live caster commentary, as well as graphics like form, player stats and results.

Adam Conway, head of esports and competitive gaming at SIS, said Howard and St Pierre’s “knowledge and skills will only strengthen our Competitive Gaming offering as we continue to make positive strides.”
