The Netherlands’ gambling regulator says it has warned Winning Poker Network of potential financial penalties if it is found to be offering illegal gaming again.

Kansspelautoriteit says the message comes after a routine recheck of the provider following an initial warning.
The KSA ruled in September 2022 that Winning Poker Network gave the opportunity to participate in illegal gaming on one of its websites. The regulator says the provider agreed to stop the activity.
During the KSA’s recheck, the regulator says illegal gaming was no longer possible from the original website in question, but that another avenue for illegal activity had opened up on a different website from the same provider.
As such, Kansspelautoriteit has ruled that Winning Poker Network has not completely stopped offering illegal gaming.
It says if Winning Poker Network is found to be offering illegal games of chance again, it will enforce a €25,000 penalty per week on the provider, with a maximum of €75,000.
