Kids World, designed for families and young children, will be built adjacent to the theme park company’s locations in Zhejiang and Chongqing. The new Adventure Park location will also adjoin the park in Chongqing.

All three of the properties are expected to open in 2020.

“We are delighted to extend our signature brand of entertainment with these exciting new properties,” said John Odum, president of Six Flags International Development Company. “Kids World and Adventure Park will offer unique, interactive experiences tailored to every member of the family, from the youngest thrill-seeker-in-training to the ultimate adventure-seeker.”

Zhe Li, chairman of Riverside Investment Group, added: “There is great demand for leisure experiences in China and Six Flags’ reputation in the theme park and entertainment industry is unmatched.

He added: “It has always been the vision of both Six Flags and Riverside to have multiple parks throughout China and this announcement builds on that shared vision.”
