Magic Play took to EAG this year to demonstrate its new video redemption games: Car Mechanic Flipper and Drifty Chase.

Dominik Wojciechowski and Dana Fryzka

Drifty Chase has the player try to shake off the pursuing police after robbing a bank.

This game is not simply about racing; players must drift skillfully through six different cities as they try to escape capture. The one-tap mechanics are designed to be as intuitive as possible, making it easy to learn the basics of the game.

Drifty Chase has a car-shaped cabinet, 42ins full HD display and additional LED marquee. In the second game, Car Mechanic Flipper, players become a car mechanic and repair used cars by bouncing them around a city-shaped pinball arena. The game is full of mini games, unlockable locations, interactive objects and other elements that grant the player more points.

The action plays out on a 50ins full HD display in a pixel-themed cabinet, with both arcade and flipper-style buttons to control. Fly o’ Clock was also present on the stand, in which players compete against a time limit, hitting the jump button to avoid electrical clock hands.
