The mega-project adds 2.2 km of beach frontage with a series of islands, one of which will be dedicated to family entertainment and the remainder to an exclusive luxury resort.

It will also contain a private yacht marina and a yacht club, 400 new food and beverage outlets, plus recreation attractions.

It will also contain a larger and improved Wild Wadi Water Park and a Marine Park, a marine life edutainment centre and first of its kind in the Middle East. A 1,700-seat theatre will house the Cirque du Soleil and the Dubai Pearl Museum with a pearl farm and themed hotel.

The development is scheduled to be completed in late 2020. The Wild Wadi transfer from its current location will enable the attraction to double its size.
