A Malaysian theme park is making history as the first themed destination in the country to hold two Guinness World Records.
ESCAPE Penang is operated by the SIM Leisure Group and has 40 rides and attractions.
The park already held one Guinness World Record for the longest tube water slide and now has added another record to its collection.
The park has launched the world’s longest zip coaster – a combination of a zip-line and roller-coaster. It cost around RM700,000 (US$160,000) to construct, with the coaster’s steel track attached to the tree line, preserving the natural environment.
