The Playoke Dance and Kids Game from Attraktion! has become an important part of future plans for National Geographic FECs worldwide, with over a dozen planned to be opened in the coming years.
The first two sites have recently opened in Shenyang, China, and Mepetec, Mexico. Later this year, sites will be opening in Changzhou and Hengqin, China.
The Playoke Dance and Kids Game is an interactive group game for four to 32 players. Players are encouraged to imitate the movements of performers or mascots shown on screen in front of them. The better the performance, the more points they get.
Special 3D cameras are positioned above the players in order to track and measure their movements. The technology behind the game is based on 3D motion tracking by Playoke.
