Two Novo Cinemas "megaplex" venues are to be included in major shopping developments in Oman.
The cinemas will go into the Mall of Muscat and Sohar China Downtown, it has been announced by Elan Group, the Qatar-based entertainment company, after signing an agreement with Oman’s Tamani Global Development and Investment. Tamani specialises in commercial, real estate, health care and hospitality development projects.
Mall of Muscat contains the Oman Aquarium, the largest in the Middle East, and has the country’s first snow park plus a go-karting track and one of the Al Othaim Faby Land locations. The Sohar China Downtown Mall is a themed shopping location and contains the largest FEC in the Batinah region, Funtazmo.
