The Finnish mall features play facilities, including XS Lelut, which were opened at the end of last year.

Several other attractions were added to the shopping centre earlier this year, including Parina – a children’s electric car rental service.

This year, the cumulative sales department of the mall increased by 21 per cent. In July, the number of visitors increased by seven per cent, reaching a total of 600,000 people.

Christian Hohenthal, CEO of Ratina owner Sponda, said: “The new retail leases show that our Ratina shopping centre is an attractive destination for patrons and an attractive place for both shopping and entertainment.

“We want to continuously improve the service offering of our shopping centres, and our customers have responded positively to this. By bringing new and interesting brands to our shopping centre, we are also developing the attractiveness of city centres. This is important for the market recovery.”
