A climbing wall, forest maze and several rope courses are included in a planned overhaul of Jackson Park in Chicago, US.
Plans to create a universally accessible play area that will be spread along three paths will face a public review next month.
The overhaul also involves several maintenance aspects, such as restoring a memorial and levelling terrain.
The estimated cost of the project is US$3m, but reports suggest it’s currently a little over budget.
Constriction is set to begin next year, with plans for the new amenities to open in early 2024.
