Another major boost is coming to the English seaside resort of Blackpool, to add to the town’s Central development.
An agreement has been reached between entertainments company Merlin and the town council for a £2.3m attraction to be built on the resort’s Golden Mile.
Merlin, operator of many global attractions, will incorporate a Blackpool Dungeons, Madame Tussauds and Sealife venues into the new location.
The company already operates the Blackpool Tower Eye and Tower Circus.
The new redevelopment of the area between Golden Mile Amusements and Funland will be turned into the new attraction that will open next year.
