Following a ribbon-cutting ceremony, visitors are now able to experience the iconic Madame Tussauds in Dubai at Bluewater Island.
Olympic athlete Amna Al Haddad and radio host Kris Fade were present at the event, launched by Merlin Entertainments.
Established in London in 1835, Madame Tussauds is now a global institution, with the new Dubai venue its 25th around the world – and the first in the GCC.
Queen Elizabeth II, Jackie Chan, Lionel Messi, Muhammad Ali, Will Smith and Rihanna are just some of the celebrities immortalised on-site.
