Haichang Ocean Park attractions have started the process of reopening to the public in China, according to reports.

Locations in Qingdao and Yantai, Shandong province, have arranged for specified areas to be accessible once again as the country’s Covid-19 response winds down.

In China, entrance to leisure parks that are back open sees visitors present IDs and health QR codes for inspection and must undergo temperature checks and wear face masks. Non-contact payment methods are also required in some parks.

Shanghai Happy Valley reportedly reopened on March 20 and experienced over 5,000 visits in the first three days, according to The Jakarta Post, though rides are operating at 40 per cent usual visitor capacity and with distances between people of 1.5 metres observed.
