The first stage of easing the lockdown in Los Angeles, US, sees venues able to open outdoors, but still with masking.

Tables have to be sited at least eight feet apart and there cannot be live entertainment. There is also an alcohol curfew at 10pm.

The county has moved into the "orange tier" of reopening, which permits some relaxation of the rules. Cinemas, for example, may open to 25 per cent capacity along with FECs and other indoor entertainment locations.
