Ivor Crean, a popular operator and industry character in Northern Ireland, has died.

Ivor, who died on Monday, lived in Omagh and leaves a wife and daughter.

He was the founder of Telco Trading and Sportsland Amusement in Portrush, Northern Ireland.

Kenny McCandless, who worked with Ivor for 13 years said: “The industry here will never be the same again. Ivor was always striving to make the arcades the best in Portrush. He took great p[ride in the refurbishment of his Phils Amusements that totally transformed the premises. He was a hard worker but also had a great sense of humour.”
