More independent accreditation for Innovative Technology's NV200 Spectral, this time from the Central Bank of Russia.
The bank grants approval to validators that recognise the difference between genuine and counterfeit banknotes and ITL’s unit passed with flying colours.
Georgiy Frolov, business development manager for Russia, said: “The CBR test is notoriously stringent, so we were very pleased to hear that the NV200 passed. It was given two CBR endorsements when it was first launched in 2016, but since then there has been two new denominations in Russia.”
