A 1,500-acre space has been allocated to create AeroCity Hyderabad in India, dedicated as a mixed-use development for business elements that identify with "leisure, retail, fun and entertainment."

Infrastructure company GMR Group is taking care of the work to make a lifestyle destination retail project named GMR Interchange to enable the entertainment facets of AeroCity Hyderabad.

A number of entertainment avenues that are currently being discussed include initially a cinema and family entertainment centre as integral to the project. They will form part of a hospitality district that will also be built.

A food court, gymnasium and bank, plus a health centre and airport public plaza are also in the plans.
