A delivery of eight Jeep-style mini-cars has been handed over to Heritage Attractions UK by manufacturer Formula K.

Formula K

Following on from the success of its new children's race track installed in 2018 which uses a fleet of Formula K's Toro mini-cars at the Sandham Gardens sites on the Isle of Wight, Heritage Attractions will use the new cars at its new attraction located at their other key site on the Island, at the Needles Landmark.

The UK manufactured Jeep-styled vehicle was opted for at this site due its tough outdoor-themed styling enabling the overall attraction to blend with the rugged environment found at the famous beauty spot.

The electrically powered cars will enable 5-12 year olds to ride in safety around an adventure style track with the option of an assisting adult to help younger or less able drivers also enjoy the experience.

The cars are fitted with an onboard computer that is fully programmable and allows customisation to every aspect of the operation.  The system also houses an operator remote start/stop control system which enables the ride assistants to maintain overall control over the safety of the attraction.

The cars at the Needles attraction were finished with "Dino Safari" themed graphics  which were designed in-house at Formula K and enhanced with the site’s own artwork and branding.

The partnership between Formula K and Heritage Attractions is set to continue through to more of the attractions operator’s sites at their landmark attractions throughout the country.
