Debit card specialist Embed has improved its Smarttouch reader with new features.
Mercy Tickets allow operators to reward guests simply for playing their games. It can be enabled on any game regardless of the game category. When guests choose to play a game that has Mercy Tickets enabled, they will be awarded tickets each time the game is played.
Mercy Tickets is especially useful for kiddie rides and games, enabling younger guests to bring a prize home with them.
E-tickets can now be used as a form of payment on designated games, allowing operators to accept E-Tickets to credit a game in place of the normal play value.
E-Tickets to Play Games can be used in any location, but it is especially useful for venues where a full redemption counter or a self-contained prize centre is not practical or cost-effective. 3-Tiered Celebration offers two additional celebration animation displays as higher ticket payouts are awarded to guests. The ticket celebration tiers can be customised for each reader to accommodate individual game payout levels. These levels can be set on the reader by logging in with a staff card. Celebration ticket levels can be set per tier with easy touch screen controls.
When using an All You Can Play package that does not award E-tickets, guests can be shown a customisable celebration message in place of the ticket celebration.
This further feature lets guests know with a short message that they are on a time play package and they’ll be eligible to win tickets again after the package has ended. This opens up additional games to time play and helps alleviate guest confusion.
This feature can be used as an upsell during parties to add value to events with Time Play for redemption games. Price per head can be increased, as can perceived value by offering a redemption game upgrade for birthday groups. Guests can enjoy unlimited ticket games without emptying a redemption counter. Redemption tickets won during gameplay can be held back instead of being awarded to the guest account. Guests can also take home a souvenir by choosing to award a set number of tickets to each card account as part of the party or group product.
