Another Indiana, US, casino, The Rising Star Casino Resort, has joined the increasing ranks of locations offering sports betting.
The offering was declared officially open by some former stars of local football team the Cincinnati Bengals.
Online and mobile sports are set to be added to the venue’s offer shortly, said general manager Ben Douglass. The platform used is the Churchill Downs BetAmerica Sportsbook. Douglass said sports betting would offer hundreds of new jobs to Indiana and around $150m annually in tax to the state over the next five years.
Rising Star is the third casino in the Cincinnati area to provide sports betting since the state was brought into the sports betting fold in September.
