The venue will be the Hollywood Casino in the city, operated by Penn National, a major operator with 41 outlets in 19 jurisdictions and over 50,000 slots in operation.

CEO Timothy Wilmott said: "The enthusiasm around sports betting has been growing since the federal ban was repealed last year and we look forward to providing this great amenity.”

At Hollywood Casino, located in south-east Indiana, the sports book will be inside the Ops House 99 sports bar and will include a wagering counter with ticket writer stations and dozens of monitors.

A ceremonial ribbon cutting will take place at the venue to mark the start of sports betting and Cincinnati football player Anthony Munoz and baseball player Tony Perez will take part.
