The SLS Baha Mar, the second of three hotels to open in the US$4.2bn Baha Mar resort in Nassau, Bahamas, opened last week.
The 299-room hotel is the fifth under the SBE lifestyle brand after the brand's two Miami properties and its hotels in Beverly Hills and Las Vegas.
Baha Mar already includes SBE food and beverage outlets Cleo, Katsuya and Monkey Bar. SBE’s Bond nightclub and Skybar lounge will open next month and early next year, respectively.
Baha Mar’s first phase opened this past spring with the debut of the 1,800-room Grand Hyatt Baha Mar and the 100,000sq.ft casino, which is the Caribbean’s largest.
A 200-room Rosewood hotel is due to open at Baha Mar in the spring.
