The Swedish government has appointed Camilla Rosenberg as director-general and head of the Swedish Gambling Authority. She has been acting director-general since May.
"We are currently in an important phase for Swedish gambling policy, and I am delighted to be in a position to recruit an experienced and popular director-general with good experience of the gambling market," said Ardalan Shekarabi, Sweden's minister for public administration.
"I look forward to leading the major reorganisation of the Swedish Gambling Authority that is now necessary, together with all of my colleagues at the authority", said Rosenberg, who takes up the position with immediate effect and until October 31, 2023.
