The Gambling Commission has launched a new service aiming to crack down on criminal and suspicious activity.

The Tell us something in confidence service should be used to report activity such as match-fixing and sports betting integrity and underage gambling, the regulator said.

Money laundering concerns, suspicious activity and unlicensed gambling or criminal activity can also be reported.

“The new service provides a one-stop service allowing users to anonymously upload supporting information connected to their report, such as photographs and documents,” the Gambling Commission said.

Information can also be sent via post or email and users can share contact information if they wish to be contacted about their report.

The Gambling Commission said its confidential telephone service to anonymously report criminal suspicious activity will not be affected by the new tool.
