US casino operator Empire Resorts has appointed Jamie Sankohas as chief accounting officer and Kevin Kline as chief operating officer and general manager of Resorts World Catskills, New York, US.
Sankohas has 20 years of accounting and finance experience, serving latterly as CFO at Genting Americas and directly responsible for Resorts World Casiono New York City, Miami, Bimini and Las Vegas. Kline has 25 years’ experience with a number of casino properties, mainly handling marketing, operations and development. He was latterly senior vice president and general manager of the Horseshow Casino, Cincinnati.
Resorts World Catskills is opening shortly, expected to be mid-February, and will include an 18-storey hotel, casino and entertainment complex with 100,000sq.ft of casino floor, 150 tables, 2,150 slots, poker room and private gaming salons. The hotel will have 332 rooms.
