Hong Kong’s Landing International Development has received approval for the relocation of its Landing Casino from the Hyatt Regency to Jeju Shinhwa World, the group’s flagship resort in South Korea.

The location is a giant (2.5m square metres) entertainment resort with a theme park, convention centre, hotels and retail that has opened in phases since last year and is due for completion in 2020.

The casino is moving from its temporary accommodation into a custom-built gaming location covering 5,500sq.m and therefore increasing its floor area seven-fold. The casino will house 155 live tables, 239 slots and electronic table games. The soft opening of the location is due for this Sunday, February 25.
