Attendance at Cyprus Casino, Melco’s temporary Cyprus gaming facility, has grown in the past week, raising hopes after a slow start.

This was revealed by Craig Ballantyne, the property president of Melco’s €550m City of Dreams Mediterranean integrated resort due to open in 2021, in an interview with local newspaper the Cyprus Mail.

Over the first three weeks of operation, Cyprus Casino has welcomed more than 34,000 visitors from 41 different nations, with 6,000 of those joining the company’s rewards club.

“So far the number of visitors has exceeded our expectations and we are very gratified with the response from our guests,” Ballantyne said.
