Jorge Agostinho Ribeiro received his certificate for successfully completing the training scheme. He was one of 16 participants to receive their awards.

The German slot machine manufacturer has had its own in-house training programme for casino service for the past nine years in co-operation with the local IHK-Akademie Ostwestfalen.

Group founder Paul Gauselmann was on hand for the presentations together with board members Armin Gauselmann and Dieter Kuhlmann, in addition to Tobias Volkmann, head of HR development at the company and representatives of the local academy.

The qualification is a one-year part-time certificate course for employees of the Merkur Casino venues in Germany, developed between the company and the academy. The course covers business topics, legal bases, questions about personnel organisation and deepening product knowledge.
