As a Manchester United supporter it was a relief to get that draw at Blackburn on Saturday, which clinched the club's 19th title. As a Mancunian, I have to admit, it was good for the city that arch rival club Manchester City also won the FA Cup Final on the same day. Success brought many rival fans
As a Manchester United supporter it was a relief to get that draw at Blackburn on Saturday, which clinched the club’s 19th title. As a Mancunian, I have to admit, it was good for the city that arch rival club Manchester City also won the FA Cup Final on the same day. Success brought many rival fans together and the local radio was full of compliments going backwards and forwards between them. I don’t suppose it will last once the new season starts, but success on Saturday for the two clubs brought about a feel good factor in the city and a sort of truce between fans, at least over the weekend!
