Manitoba waterpark proposed
The Polo Park retail centre should be the venue for Manitoba's recommended waterpark, a Canadian newspaper has reported.
The Canad Inns hotel chain has been chosen to design, build and operate an indoor waterpark that will be built with C$7m worth of city funds, reports the Winnipeg Free Press.
Pending council approval, the waterpark would be built next to Canad Inns' Polo Park hotel, which would be expanded by 100 rooms. The project is expected to cost $43.6m.
