Disney prepares Toy Story Mania
Disney's California and Florida parks are poised to open a new attraction this summer, the interactive 4D dark ride/game Toy Story Mania.
Based on the two successful movies, TSM features all the characters familiar to fans. Guests are welcomed by an audio-animatronic of Mr Potato Head. Then, wearing 3D glasses, they are "shrunk" down to toy size aboard spinning vehicles armed with spring-action guns.
Five games plus an introductory game throw up a wide range of targets for guests to aim at to achieve high scores. These include Pie Throw Practice, Hamm and Eggs, Bo Peep's Baaa-loon Pop, Green Army Men Shoot Camp, Buzz Lightyear's Flying Tossers and Woody's Rootin' Tootin' Shootin' Gallery.
Toy Story Mania is the first time that Disney's Imagineering team has created an attraction for two Disney parks simultaneously.
