OpenBet has been granted membership of the World Lottery Association.

The company already has relationships with a number of government-backed organisations such as the Tote, Macau Slot in Asia and more recently Pari Mutuel Urbain. OpenBet has also partnered with North American jurisdictions British Columbia Lottery Corporation and Loto-Québec.

David Loveday, chief executive of OpenBet, said: "Becoming a member of this world leading organisation marks an important step for OpenBet in our expansion as a global provider for the egaming and lottery sector."

Marcel Croux, SVP corporate affairs of Loto-Québec, a WLA Level 4 certified member, added: "OpenBet’s membership in the WLA demonstrates that it is a partner in the global gaming community."
