GameAccount signs licensing deal with EIDOS

GameAccount has signed a licensing agreement with video game publisher Eidos Interactive, to develop online person-to-person skill-based games based on three of their game franchises, Championship Manager, Kane and Lynch: Dead Men and Battlestations: Pacific, in non-US markets.

In a first move into branded games for the GameAccount network, development, based on GameAccount’s hi-lo game engine, is already under way for an online version of the popular soccer management simulation Championship Manager. This will be followed by an online translation of Kane and Lynch: Dead Men and a further online skill-game based on a new Eidos title, Battlestations: Pacific.

As well as official naming and branding rights, as part of the agreement GameAccount’s Kane and Lynch and Battlestations: Pacific skill-based games will also feature sound effects, video animations and images from the original games.
