Microgaming's online bingo software is now available to Maltese licensees and operators, as the casino and poker software developer continues to grow its presence in the Mediterranean island nation.

The company has already received online gaming licences for its casino and poker products by Malta’s Lotteries and Gaming Authority, and the addition of a gaming licence for bingo will enable it to service its growing base of operators in the EU.

Malta - the first EU member state to regulate remote gaming - offers four classes of remote gaming licence, with applicants undergoing probity checks as part of a wider fit and proper exercise, business and technical assessment, and finally a compliance audit.
