NMi awards first online casino certificate
Independent Dutch testing laboratory NMi has signed and presented its first online gaming certificate.
NMi said the certificate, which has been awarded to Holland Casino Digital, the online subsidiary of the Dutch gaming monopoly, represented a "true milestone" in the development of igaming in the Netherlands.
Certification was obligatory before Holland Casino Online could go live. However, despite the fact that all tests were passed successfully, the First Chamber voted against the proposal to grant Holland Casino Online a three-year testing period and for the moment the online casino will not be available on the net.
