Bally Technologies demonstrates Alpha platform
Bally Technologies used ICE to demonstrate its faith in its sophisticated Alpha platform.
“Everything we have is now on Alpha,” said the company’s Gavin Isaacs. “This is a platform with a high value proposition and a true road map.
“It will go for years and years because everything about it is upgradeable; the cabinets are very modular and the same cabinet is used for both mechanical reel and video.”
Bally has a huge amount of confidence in this hardware. “It is really reliable,” said Isaacs, “and everything is interchangeable, even the bar-top version. Our confidence in Alpha has enabled us to concentrate on the game content.
“We have always been a leader in the stepper market, but have been weak in the past when it comes to video. We have a long way to go in this field, but we are getting there. Now we feel we have the right platform stability, we have the ability to innovate.”
